Under Anna University, There is no difference between CSE and IT.. Almost Both department have same paper in all semster.. But always people will think both are different and will not choose IT dept in good colleges and go for cse in average colleges..
But in General B.E-- will have more theory paper, which is usefull for those interest in computer research..
and B.Tech - More Practical.. which helpful in I.T sector programming field......... But under anna university, No difference at all..
